A large, beautiful Christmas cookie tin, with space enough for the traditional Norwegian seven sorts of Christmas cookies.

The nostalgic pattern on the box is painted by designer Lisbeth Lutnæs, inspired by Santa’s Christmas workshop and the bustling and hectic life at Hadeland Glassworks, where the Norgesglass was produced in earlier times.

The Norgesglass with the characteristic Norge (Norway)- logo was first launched in 1902. It was a molded glass jar for airtight storage. The introduction of this product allowed Norwegian housewives to preserve food and drink for longer periods of time, and the Norge glass jar was to be found in practically every single household in the country. Over the years, the original design has remained the same. Today, with an ever-increasing focus on organic and homemade food, making use of fruits, berries and mushrooms fresh from the forest or the garden, the old, lidded jar has not only proved that it is here to stay. Norge is today a brand with a variety of products, from drinking glasses, new types of glass jars, jugs, cups and bottles in all shapes and sizes.
